Section Brief:

'The 'Transformation' in this piece was a large slug-like thing with a big mouth comes out, then the mouth flips back and out comes a silver bird.

Components:
Consists of outer 'slug', wings, tail tied at wasit, knit top, trousers, mask
Technique:

Slug-like outer case - stiffened with fibre glass.
Knobbly back is recycled bras.
Inside bird piece was recycled baskets, spoons, and silver trays.
The wings are stiffened used foiling plastic.
The trousers are crinkled and stiffened with nylon cord.
